Welcoming Our New Partner: Dharma Voices for Animals
Asia Wild is excited to welcome Dharma Voices for Animals (DVA) as our newest partner!
Founded in 2011, DVA works at the intersection of Buddhist practice and animal protection, advocating for greater compassion toward animals within Buddhist communities around the world.

DVA’s mission is simple, meaningful, and one that strongly resonates with us here at Asia Wild: to end animal suffering within Buddhist communities by promoting plant-based living and a cruelty-free lifestyle.
The organization works closely with Buddhist leaders, temples, and local communities, particularly across Asia. Through educational programs, vegan cooking classes, public events, media outreach, and community partnerships, DVA helps people connect the principles of compassion and non-harm with everyday choices that can reduce animal suffering.

DVA is also actively working on animal protection initiatives in Sri Lanka, Thailand, and Vietnam, including advocacy for stronger animal welfare protections and projects that address human-animal conflict.
We’re especially excited to explore DVA’s work in Sri Lanka, including an initiative aimed at creating a more peaceful future for both elephants and farming communities. We look forward to sharing more about this important project with our supporters in the months ahead.

We’re grateful to Rayane, Katie, Andrea, and the entire DVA team for the opportunity to work together. We’re excited to help shine a light on their work and find new ways to support a more compassionate future for animals.
Welcome to the Asia Wild family, Dharma Voices for Animals!
